FAQ

COMMON QUESTIONS

What is dry lubricant pelletizing?

+
Dry lubricant pelletizing converts powdered lubricants such as graphite or molybdenum disulfide into dust-free granules that can be metered and handled without airborne loss. Renovo pelletizes these on the disc and rotary drum line, producing free-flowing granules at SGN 50–400 with controlled crush strength so they break down where intended and not in transit.

Can Renovo granulate abrasive or dense industrial powders?

+
Yes. The disc granulator and rotary drum dryer train is built for dense and abrasive feedstocks at commercial tonnage, from 1 to 20+ tons per batch. Materials that would damage gentler equipment run here, with granule size, bulk density and crush strength verified in the on-site analytical lab against the agreed spec.

What dry lubricants can you manufacture?

+
We pelletize graphite, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), PTFE-based compounds, and combinations thereof. Formulations can be customized for specific temperature ranges and load requirements.

What desiccant types do you produce?

+
We manufacture silica gel, activated clay, and molecular sieve granules in various mesh sizes. Custom activation levels and indicator options are available.

Can you handle hazardous materials?

+
We process a range of industrial materials under controlled conditions. Each material is evaluated for safety and handling requirements. Contact us to discuss your specific material.

What is the typical particle size range?

+
We produce granules from 400 microns to 8mm depending on the application. Particle size distribution can be optimized for flow characteristics, dissolution rate, or surface area requirements.
